TANK has often been compared to Motörhead as both bands played a loose, almost punk-styled metal music with often colourful lyrics. Lemmy helped them get their first record deal, and "Fast" Eddie Clarke was picked as producer for their debut album, "Filth Hounds of Hades".

Leader of Down have a worldwide deal with Los Angeles-based label Cleopatra Records and have now released the follow-up to “Cascade into Chaos” entitled “The Screwtape Letters”, released throughout the world on Cleopatra Records.
